Contraverse was caught up in the nerf because contraverse regen works by giving +2000% of base grenade regen rate for 1.75s, and in 7.3.0, the base grenade regen rate was nerfed for "long-cooldown-tier" abilities (vortex grenade is in this tier).

You dont need Discipline, but other than Resilience theres nothing else youd need anyway. Its more of a backup in case you throw your grenade without armor charges and dont hit anything.
