Aug 22, 2023 · Daclif. I am totally unnerved, I just can't beat the Maul PG against Phoenix (and also not the Tie Interceptor-PG and Darth Malgus-PG) in Proving Grounds. This is setting me back month by month. When I read about Proving Ground, they say you can beat Maul with any GL, except SLKR, but I have JMK and I get defeat after defeat!

Just did this in less than 10 mins with Thrawn R6, Piett R8, Tarkin R5, ShoreT R5, and RG R5. Just keep cleansing with Thrawn, healing with RG and ShoreT, use Piett's ambition and suborbital strike, and throwing dots and TM reduction from Tarkin. 3 stars. Reply.

You can refresh any given tier twice for a crazy amount of crystals. So in theory you can get up to 60 shards/event, but it's costly. So if you're starting with 0 shards and doing 2 refreshes on a given tier, it will take roughly 6 months to unlock any given toon.

Funnily enough Maul was the first conquest character after CAT, so you stopped playing at the wrong time it seems. Maul is only available from the Proving Grounds event, which takes place once a month, straight after Conquest ends. Alright well that explains why i havent seen him in the store. Been doing the CAT event in proving grounds for over a year now with r8 gas and r7 501st clones with about a 25% success rate, but all the sudden for this event I am getting absolutely wrecked. Gas is down before any of my toons even take a turn and maul takes out the whole team before he is back up.
