Depends on the stats you have but you can definitely get a mage only zulrah kill for the diary KC. Wearing tank gear and mage and only attack during mage phase, other phases just hide so you won't take damage. 79 mage I used nezzy for Def/pray, ahrims top, mystic light legs, lunar boots, b gloves, glory, Ibans and crystal shield.

The bowfa when paired with the full Crystal Armor set has a flat 30% accuracy boost, which makes it relatively accurate when Zulrah is range and melee phase. The trident has no such effect and loses a lot of DPS when Zulrah is mage phase. The accuracy boost is what makes bowfa so powerful in a variety of scenarios. 1. Reply.

It is a common misconception that using better arrows doesn't make a difference against Zulrah. The initial damage roll still rolls between 0-maxhit then any damage roll above a 50 rerolls to a random value between 45-50. Therefore hitting above 50 more often will result in more 45-50 hits.

Bowfa is a long enough grind without making it 10x longer with deaths and slow clears. Maybe greenlog Perilous Moons, do slayer until trident, then TOA for Fang. Ranged damage is dealt using Bowfa if you have it, RCB + diamond bolts if you don't. Blowpipe beats RCB but you gotta kill Zulrah to get it. Make Guthix rests and take two with you every trip. When venom damage is 8 or higher, sip the Guthix rest to nerf the venom into poison.

Do mage only and hide behind pillars when mage phase is up. I've recently been farming Zulrah with BP only and its surprisingly doable. I have 99 range though and use eagle eye. Sip Range pot after every 2 kills. Average kill time is around 2:20 which I'm happy with personally. Also use god d'hide over Karils.
