It was compiled to offer drills in one location. The training principles in the “More” section are from a variety of trainers. I do have a program that I follow that I find works for me and my dogs. 2112 posts · Joined 2003. #21 · Jan 18, 2009. I keep a cleaning rod in my bag and when using my bumperboys or my hand held dummy launcher in water I always wipe out the barrel of the dummy. The moisture can foul the launcher blanks and prevent them form functioning properly.

Feb 21, 2007 · Send for a single and now the dog must go over an old fall. Basically, you can set this drill up where the line to marks are right off a short guns back, under the arc, through a fall, etc. It teaches a dog to ignore other white coats that are out in the field and to just concentrate on the mark being thrown. It also helps on head swinging.

Then you take the blind drills to other locations. Teach the line in a manner similar to the first leg of the pattern blind, then add a gunner, then an old fall to create suction to cast off of.
