Needless to say, as this is about the ending of a film, this entire post is full of spoilers. I believe that the Coen Brother's version of 'True Grit' has a very subtle, clever ending which seems to have flown under the radar of most viewers. This isn't a fan theory, I fully believe that the Coens designed the film to lead to this conclusion.
