Coosa was suggested by my builder but I cannot find much on using it in a heavy performance boat. I'm concerned with strength vs plywood. Treated plywood is pretty much rot proof as well.

Mar 4, 2011 · 502 MPI upgrade results. I just got this off the dyno a couple days ago and think this is a great little package for the 502. The cam is from Bob Madara, the tune is from Mark Boos. Stock 502mpi with the intake dividers cut down and a bit of porting, stainless marine exhaust, run on the dyno with all accessories, wet exhaust through GGB mufflers.Dec 9, 2006 · Re: 500 EFI, 200 hour service requirement. The problems with major cracking has been in the liner built boats. The stringer built boats such as the 25 have been fine. The problems you have heard on the 2006 and prior boats have been in the 23, 30 and a few 20/202s. There were several 35's and a couple of 26's as well that had the problems. I had the gear case professionally painted by a friend over 20 years ago. On the page you linked to, item 14 is a spacer that goes on top of the gimbal housing pad, and the flywheel housing sits on top of that. # 14 is a special double wound lock washer. If so, the mag motor is a 4 bolt block with all forged bottom end and rectangle port heads. I had this on my engine but by the time the project was ready for water I could afford The blower shop 575sci replacement so I went that direction. I did start the engine with this blower, no odd sounds or issues that I could tell but being I cant tell you the hours I would refresh.

Sep 2, 2002 · Scott is correct, the Crane Part Number for the 500EFI is #169621. The specifications are 230/236 Duration, 298/610 Lift on a 114 Lobe Center.
