I am running a Lokar shifter and I am aware that they sell a backup light kit to go along with this shifter, but frankly it is hookey. The codes it pulled from that were P0300 multiple misfire and P0152 Bank 2 position 1 O2 sensor high voltage. I added some displays to the Torque app to look at my O2 voltages and found this - O2 bank 2 position 2 is at 0.0V and bank 1 is at 1.3V. Just my 2 cents, When I first got my jeep on 05, I primed the entire frame with Rustoleum primer and Rustoluem professional paint. Came out really good, and still holding up today. Fuse M38 protects the circuits that leave the TIPM to actuate the lock actuators. The door lock switches are MUX, and are not protected by a fuse. I've found that the 4.0L runs best on champion copper plugs. The same kind that it came with. Since your XJ is a 2001, it won't have plug wires or a distributor but instead has a coil pack ignition. As far as the E3 plugs or other fancy ones, thats your own decision.
