Tried all of those, except the Wiimote. Nothing displays on the TV. The Gamepad's power button even turns the system on, but then says that it can't connect to the system, while the system is clearly on. I'll try a Wiimote, but I am not expecting results.

The only thing CBHC does is bypass the system menu so if you had screwed up the system menu somehow then CBHC might still work and allow you to fix it. Although a NAND restore wouldn't be needed for that anyway, only WUPInstaller.
