Last month was my last month before switching to AT&T, still had the account and everything on a single line. They cut off my service completely, assuming it was fine as long as I did a 72 hour extension, it was fine then as well. After the 72 hours, it completely cut me off and I really can't even bother to call them or contact them about it.
