If it is not programmed properly, the factory anti theft is designed to shut the vehicle down after 3 seconds. Good afternoon, I own a 2012 300 limited, Recently when my wife or myself go to touch the driver side door to unlock it nothing will happen. when I tried to use remote at the same time it would not work. Had to use the key to open alarm went off & it did start immediately.

I guess if you have the horn set to honk on lock or unlock with the remote it will honk when you use the remote start. I don't have the horn set to honk w/locking and it doesn't do it when I remote start it.
