Apply directly to MIT because even if youre qualified your admissions rate thru the ncm is floor level low. The general consensus is that most applicants make <$65000, if you make a little more it’s still fine. QuestBridge is most for applicants within this range or more if there are circumstances like medical bills or debt. If you are not low income then it might not be best to apply.

This is 2023 Questbridge Finalist Results thread, using the template from previous years. The results were announced on Oct. 18, 2023. This thread is made NOT to discourage or instigate admissions anxiety. You all will thrive this year's college admissions process; I have no doubt about it. Very likely too high fam. But still apply to QB schools independently for generous financial aid. For example, Rice offers full tuition covered for anyone making under $130k. Pretty sure most of the Ivy's have similarly generous packages, you won't pay much at any QB partner school. 6. Emory-Mom. For reference, the middle 50% sat score for 2018 finalists was between a 1320-1450, which is pretty low compared to the average sat of the students that attend some of the schools Questbridge is partnered with.Yup! I know someone who got in to MIT EA (through QB, they were a finalist but didn’t match) and got the gates scholarship, so if you’re thinking they might not award you the scholarship bc you matched that prob won’t be the case.
