Unless comparing them with another set of similar shocks back to back on the same Jeep, on the same road - it's difficult to give feedback. I have a 3.5" lift with mud terrains so there are other factors as well.

Shocks that I tried: RE Bilstein 5100, RS5000X (highly regarded in here), Fox, and the RS9000XL. The RS9000XL came the closest to not feeling like a meat wagon. The RE Bilstein 5100 and Fox shocks had much less uptravel than the Rancho shocks.
