It may help if we knew what you consider close. For example in our suggestions Silver Surf is the farthest at about 1/2 mile from the Moose. 38. Re: Moose Lodge Membership. 5 years ago. We learned last year that the Moose no longer grants walk-in applications immediately as they used to do. The approval process now takes a few weeks. You can either leave the application at the bar, or you can just mail in the application (which can be found online).
