Long story short. It's not worth it. I'm happy with navi only. I don't need the camera. Too much work in my opinion. Plus the camera is $400 and by cutting pin 9 you'll have to somehow tell the navi it's in reverse because that's the wire that used to tell it. The camera has a motor and position sensor. That's a whole other headache.
