I have both models (long story). The tread plus is significantly better from a running perspective. The foot feel is superior and feels like running on a real road. The monitor is bigger and is closer to eye level for taller people (I’m 6’1). Correct about Peloton, but to be fair, even the official Peloton tread doesn't control speed/incline automatically. You watch the screen and adjust them on your own.
