The photo below is the first scope I got on the zero lock straight out of the sealed box. Lift off the turret and you see the lock detent is off-center, too. The second one I didn't take pictures of -- I was pissed to high hell and boxed it back up and emailed the reseller demanding I be refunded so I can move on.

However, when looking through the scope at the grid to align the crosshairs, it's saying I have to move the windage 110 clicks. When I do that, you can plainly see the crosshairs are "off." Zero like any scope. Don't confuse moving the dot vs moving the bullet. Put your POA, dot, on bullseye and shoot. Move bullet, POI, per arrows on elevation and windage knobs. It zeros like a scope. If the bullet hits low, move the elevation screw up, in the direction of the arrow.

So if you miss one inch to the right and your scope has ¼ MOA per click adjustments, adjust your windage four clicks in the direction the L is pointing (assuming your sighting in at 100 yards). I bought a Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44 CDS ZL2. I mounted it using Talley Lightweight 20moa mounts, then to get it zeroed at 200 yards I removed the zero-stop mechanism and moved the reticle roughly 20 minutes to offset the 20moa mounts.
