The P30 is a bit bulky (IMO) for optimal CCW but has the larger capacity for HD, the HK45c is perfect for both but has the 8 round capacity (unless you get the very bulky elephant foot) and .45 isn't ideal for your first handgun. The factory HK45c grip is slippier because the grip pattern is less aggressive and thinner (no palm swells) than the HK45 and P30. It takes more time and effort to master the grip to maintain a firm no-slip hold shot-to-shot. But of course, you can always buy and Talon grip or a Hogue Handall to make the grip better.
