As a primary int build, I've gone back to Dark Moon Greatsword, although it's clearly inferior to Sword and Night and Flame or Hoarfrost pre patch. I can't say for certain, but I would imagine that Dex builds is probably the strongest melee option now.The various coliseums found around the Lands Between seem to have been intended to be functional at some point. They're complete enough that the actual arena and audience stands are fully modeled, but the ground floor is still incomplete. Having watched my friend start a character and pick up the brass shield right away before leveling up, only the weakest individual hits didn't immediately guard break them before meeting the requirement. So the stamina drain penalty is IMMENSE, more than just double what you'd normally take.

It hits 2 times in a row for about 1200 damage per hit for me and you are invulnerable for a few seconds as well. The AoE on the Axe also does crazy damage.
