Your FPRV (fuel pressure relief valve) may need to be shimmed, but not many LMM need this. 3. You may need to look at getting a lift pump. I would start with the fuel filter and go from there. Have a 04 LLY Duramax that I cannot get too start up. I replaced the fuel filter housing as well and it primes up good and hard. The only code I'm getting is a p0090 something with the fuel pressure regulator.

This is also something that is not very common on these Duramax engines but it happens more often than an ECM issue. The most common problem on the Duramax is the EGR. That and head gasket issues. As far as electrical issues, this is really the only other one I know of. ECM issues are not common at all.
