So since 6.0 released a lot of folks have been having audio issues such as choppy audio, or pops when loading, and more. This got even worst with the release of 6.01 which saw even more people suddenly experiencing issues. At first it was assumed certain CPUs were having issues due to age, but then we saw that newer models were also having issues.Audio was cutting out a bit which led to frame stutter due to how the game handles audio. Just wondering if there is any solution to this because I've reinstalled my drivers, tried different drivers from Realtek, tried multiple headphones and speakers as well as different ports on my computer.Remove all filtering and drop your quality settings down to something normal. It only happens in a few apps, Paramount+ and HBO Max seem to be the main culprits. It can point to any of the physical devices and as long as the virtual device is set as default in windows FFXIV will use it so you can switch devices without relogging.
