To spin 6+k rpm reliably in those it should e balanced to less than 1 gram. Also told the diesel cranks are way worse than the gasoline motors when it comes to being balanced... Mack: 2004 lb7. Flip the engine, oil pans off, pop all the rod caps off and push the pistons up in the cylinders, pop the main caps off. Putting it back together is tricky, but still possible. It could be done but the block should be align honed after breaking a crank.
