Posted 1/24/2012 21:00 (#2183832) Subject: 60 Series Detroit losing coolant. Central Iowa. I've got a 12.7 Detroit in my truck that has been losing coolant. Recently when I go to start the truck the low coolant light occasionally comes on. I have added coolant and driven up to 500-1000 miles with no further problems.
