Yeah, it is a conundrum. I'm playing with 'They Knew', so I occasionally find cures on zombies, which keeps the Knox Virus from being too much of a death sentence. I actually use that 0.2 extra fanny pack space for Zomdoxycycline - it's a 24 hour immunity to the virus that the mod adds, which I find more interesting than the cure itself.

We know the Knox Virus is airborne and it's even possible to have infected dogs. We can maybe speculate it affected birds and could have transferred continental lines that way. More than likely, it was breathed in and onto a plane or supply crate and spread through multiple airports or port cities. Reply reply.

Yea, it should heal like any other wound now just takes a little while to heal. Eat well and it should heal in no time. In my experience it takes 2-3 game days. You'd still get the minor pain moodlet until then. You don't heal the "bitten" status, just the zombie infection. The bite has to heal normally.By default the black hazmat zombies spawn at a rate of 500 out of 100000. The cure has a 100% chance to spawn on them, and the vaccine to delay the infection is disabled with a 0% spawn chance. These settings can be tweaked.
