Subaru outback passenger window not working.
The problem still happens with both keys in the car. Based on what I've read online, I think I'll try the following: 1. Try a new brand of batteries instead of cheap ones from Amazon - Energizer or Duracell. 2. Put the key in the door pocket instead of by the cup holder as phone interference may cause the problem.
Subaru Dealers are given 0.2 hours to replace the drivers master window control switch under warranty. One time you do get it down, spray some silicon spray onto a rag and give the rubbers a wipe and the top of the window, see if that makes a difference. Just had this same problem. Tried the heater core flush, twice. 2nd time adding CLR cleaner. Still no heat on passenger side. Checked the heat/blend actuator motor by cranking the heat on the passenger side. No movement. Replaced the part (#72131AG11A), about $65 from my local dealership. Fixed! '05 OBXT.

There's a window reset procedure that might fix this - maybe caused by the battery disconnect. I believe it's in the owner's manual, but I have a bookmark with the procedure.
