Thats what I did. I mounted the pole to my fascia on the side of my house and put the dish in the mount. They give u 3 sets of screws to secure the mount to the pole. It , the dish is not that heavy, if you secure the pole to your fascia board or concrete it into the ground like a flag, youll have no issues. 2.
