With that u could make homemade fertiliser which in turn could be used on your farm. You can just throw it away. It can be used for composting, but since farming can provide pretty much unlimited food with nearly no effort and zero farming skill, and can be scaled up easily there's little point to bothering with it. That's also the reason why there's little point to hitting 7 cooking and cooking with rotten food in the first place.
