I like TOS but the commissions and fees are outrageous for futures, and the margin requirements tie up too much cash. NinjaTrader for futures costs less per trade with $500 margin per /ES contract, $50 per /MES, that's daytrading margins -- if you want to carry something overnight, same margins as everybody else. I’ve tried to change away so many times to something with a better UI - Motivewave is the closest, but keep coming back. Honestly if your looking for orderflow tools, Quantower, Ninjatrader, and Jigsaw is best. tradovate is best if you daytrade. Benefit of having FCM doesn't really outweigh the commissions if you trade a lot. It can literally save you thousands of dollars in commission every month. I'd say tradovate for scalping, amp/tradestation for all others
