The Ithaca is a fantastic gun. I bought a Model 37 back in 90. My dad owns a BPS with the same specs as my Ithaca - 12 ga. 2 3/4 & 3", 28" vent rib with screw in choke tubes and my gun weighs less than his. Better for hunting (carrying all day walking a dove or pheasant field) and I think the Ithaca's action is smoother than the BPS.
