Doing uearth was much more useful than reading an extra 214 pagesA lot of that section is reading comprehension IMO so your results may vary but the 300 page doc is plenty of content review. Yes, the 300 page doc is made from Khan Academy which is in my opinion the best resource for P/S review we have for AAMC stuff. The kaplan is not enough. The 300 has everything and has just enough info to know. The thing is you are going through it the first time so it will be tough to understand. You have to cover it at least 2-3 times by the time you take the mcat. 3.

It is one of the best book sets availability for having near-total depth of content without going way too far into detail. There is still too much detail in some places. You hear different opinions from different people because different people are different. Get UWorld anyway.

Nothing guarantees anything on the MCAT. Nobody can bank on a 132. A lot of the section is passage and data based. I think if strong knowledge of the 300 page doc "guarantees" a score, it would be around 127, not 132. 130+ is a hard earned score in any section. I did the 300pg doc in 7 days, 8 days if you include the bonus material (pages 300-335). If you combine that with a lot of practice you should be able to score really well on P/S overall. If you have a background in psych, the 86 is probably sufficient but if you're aiming for upper scores, I'd recommend being more thorough with Kaplan. The post for the deck says it was designed for people who have never taken a psych or soc class, and I've taken plenty of those in the past. Psych is also already my highest section. I'm averaging a 128-129 on it, and I'm only 1/3rd of the way through the 300 page doc.
The nice thing about Kaplan P/S is that it gives straightforward explanations, and you can refer to chapter summaries for organized definitions. In terms in comprehensive ness though, the 300 page doc goes into more detail and includes all possible testable content.
