800kc bowfa here, so I had a few shards spare like you. Paid the 1k shards to corrupt it in November, I still have 2500 crystal shards left. Don't regret burning the shards, the trade off was that I'd rather learn high end pvm instead of training smithing for 3 hours.

Your best options will be 300+ toa or duke imo. The good news for you is that bowfa+crystal isn't needed for 300s and you should be able to get to these in your current gear setup. There is a combat achievement to do a 300 or higher raid with tier 75 or lower gear too . Might as well get that out of the way . For a main it is better to not corrupt the bowfa. It takes 130 hours of constantly firing a bowfa to use up all the charges 2k crystal shards would have given. If you ever plan on selling the bowfa later, then corrupting is a waste of gp. It’s like 10% more accurate than DCB set up there and saves like 20 seconds on kill time with his stats.Ahrims is basically best mage armour until you can afford ancestral. Karils is good for range if you need mage defense, or blessed dhide for range with slightly better melee defense. For most situation, blessed dhide is good enough and cheaper. Pretty much stuck with these until masori, arma is an expensice upgrade for very minimal stat gain.

The Twisted Bow and Bow of Faerdhinen are both viable methods for killing Kree'arra. While weaker than Black Chinchompas, they're much cheaper to use and less click intensive. There's a massive difference in accuracy though. In those gear setups the elite void has a maximum accuracy roll of 36,660 but in crystal the max roll is 56,303. So as an example this means the crystal armor has a 28.78% dps increase on Jad over the elite void.So I've tried bowfa at ggs, it's more chill yes, but I wouldn't count on it skipping orbs.
