I know this would be a common issue. When I press the power button on my XPS 13 Dell Laptop it shows Dell logo and nothing happens. The front led lights blinks white for 4 times and then amber for 2 times. As for power light: Solid amber can mean bad MB. Blinking amber can mean bad PSU. Not add any confusion, but fans spinning and nothing else working can be classic of a bad PSU.
